Rare Old Color Photos – They’re New Againon January 28, 2013 at 4:08 pm
Do you ever feel like something is so old it’s new again. That anyway is the rationale that we’re using to post these turn of the Century (20th Century, that is) photos of Paris on the Creativity Tech site. The color on some of the photos is so vivid that it actually looks enhanced. The Curious Eggs blog, where you can see of the photos, reports that they were taken using Autochrome Lumiere technology. The process was patented in 1903 and evented by Auguste and Louis Lumière, two of the earliest filmmakers in history.
